This Custom Floating Shelf is constructed of a solid Sugar Maple wood slab with uniform grain and color. Small knots and splits are filled with epoxy then sanded maintaining a smooth surface. The flat edge reveals beautiful edge grain adding to the shelfs character helping to make it an eye-catching décor accent. 

We never use glued boards, veneer particle board or manufactured boxes for our shelves.

Our flawless Catalyzed Conversion Varnish (CCV) Finish is permanent, does not require reapplication, resists scratches and water marks. Additionally, it enhances wood character and color and leaves a satin smooth fine-furniture finish. CCV is a premium finish that results in an heirloom quality Wood Floating Shelf.
